Public affairs firm expanding to D.C., Chicago

Austin Business Journal, May 1, 2003 - Austin-based Quorum Public Affairs LLC will open offices in Washington, D.C., and Chicago, the firm announced Thursday.

The company provides corporate public affairs, issue advocacy and government relations at the federal, state and local levels.

"Establishing a presence in these critical markets will allow Quorum Public Affairs to serve a rapidly growing roster of clients with diverse business objectives," says Craig Casselberry, managing director.

Quorum Public Affairs' clients include Houston-based ConocoPhillips [NYSE: COP], Irving-based Exxon Mobil Corp. [NYSE: XOM], New York-based Pfizer Inc. [NYSE: PFE] and the Washington, D.C.-based American Insurance Association.

The Austin, Washington D.C. and Chicago offices of Quorum Public Affairs will support the Quorum Network, which offers public affairs consulting in every state.
Quorum Public Affairs is an expansion of Quorum Direct Inc., founded in 1994 by Casselberry after he left the staff of then-Agriculture Commissioner Rick Perry.
