Quorum Public Affairs Announces Expansion of Dallas and San Antonio Operations

AUSTIN, TX – 4/2/2008 Quorum Public Affairs is pleased to announce that Liz Bradford and Carolyn Hensarling have joined the company. As a Senior Manager and Chief Media Strategist, Ms. Bradford will provide strategic media counsel and general account management services for the Quorum client roster. Bradford has focused on strategic communications since leaving the news industry in 2002 where she was an award winning anchor, reporter, and producer. Carolyn Hensarling will join the team as a Senior Manager and oversee the company’s San Antonio operations. Ms. Hensarling will handle a full range of services for Quorum's corporate clientele including public affairs, government relations, coalition development, and strategic communications.

For Quorum, Bradford has managed major accounts including an emerging medical device technologist seeking to raise its profile and secure capital, to a grassroots public relations and marketing campaign for a major US automaker striving to better reach its core customers, to a legislative communications effort for private equity investors.

Throughout her career, Bradford has consulted law firms, major corporations, organizations and small businesses, consulting firms, venture investment firms, major media outlets, production houses, major manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, gaming interests, and a top US resort hotel. Ms. Bradford will manage the company’s Dallas operations.

Prior to joining the firm, Hensarling managed state government affairs for the Cancer Therapy and Research Center as a Principal with The Loeffler Group in San Antonio, TX. She was major player in the team that brought Texas Proposition 15 to the ballot, authorizing up to $3 billion in state general revenue bonds to fund cancer research, prevention, and early detection and control programs. She previously served as Deputy Chief of Staff to Congressman Henry Bonilla (R-TX-San Antonio) during a nine year stint in Washington, DC.

Ms. Hensarling is the younger sister of U.S. Congressman Jeb Hensarling of Dallas. As a San Antonio resident, she will manage Quorum’s office in that market and support the company’s headquarters location in Austin.
